Özet

Partial anomalous pulmonary venous return (PAPVR) is a rare congenital anomaly. CT and MR imaging mostly demonstrate the anomalous pulmonary vein and its connection. However, rarely, invasive procedures may be necessary. In this article, we present a case of partial anomalous pulmonary venous connection which was diagnosed incidentally during evaluation of carotid arteries. Diagnosis was established by assessment of carotid artery by MR and CT angiography. Early jugular vein opacification in arterial phase could show the anomalous pulmonary vein connection even in asymptotic patients. To our knowledge, this sign described here was not highlighted in the literature previously.
